Obital has created the world's most affordable and accessible eye tracking software for the ones needing it the most. No complicated calibration or additional hardware required. All from a regular smartphone.
Eye-tracking on the smartphone. No calibration, extra hardware or complicated setup.
The world's most accessible eye-tracking. Download it on App Store or Google Play.
Supports more than 80 million smart devices on Apple HomeKit and Google Home.
As easy as pairing a Bluetooth speaker. The app automatically detects connected accessories.
The Enable technology opens up the world for people with motor disabilities. This is done using innovative eye-tracking technology, which can run directly on a standard smartphone without the need of calibration or any additional hardware. Simple and intuitive movements with the eyes opens doors, turns on lights and much more.Fuelled by the will to help and the eager to innovate, Obital believe that the most powerful technology is the technology which can be used by everyone.
And many more to come. The Enable application are taking advantages of the development within the smart home market. "Smart home" is a branch of the Internet of Things (IoT), that covers consumer electronics such as audio systems, lamps, TV's, doors windows etc. that are connected to the internet and therefore can be controlled by a smartphone. Because they are already accessible from the smartphone, our software can control these devices just by using one's eyes.
The Enable application can be downloaded directly to your smartphone. Our app will automatically discover connected smart home devices, which means that installation can be kept to a minimum. Looking at the phone will make our technology detect the user’s eyes, who in turn can control the connected devices by the look of an eye.
Pairing a Bluetooth speaker. The smart home devices are installed by family or relatives to the disabled person, and the installation proces is guided though embedded “how-to" videos in the Enable application.
Obital develops products based on the emerging commercialised eye-tracking technology available in modern smartphones, tablets and computers. This technology opens up for new methods of interaction, new types of data and most importantly, gives access to completely new markets.
At Obital, our mission is to utilise eye-tracking in mobile devices to create value for end users, and tap into markets previously very hard to enter due to the required hardware.
Strategically, we use available eye-tracking technologies to solve real-world problems, gradually building up and interaction platform to allow other developers to do the same.
Obital was founded in 2017 as a spin-out of the Technical University of Denmark. Since then, we have received awards and acknowledgements for our innovations. Our greatest wish is to remove people's constraints, increase their freedom and thus life quality. We believe this can be done using technology created for everyone, and affordable for everyone.
